DRONES VS HELICOPTERS

WHY SKYLAB USES HELICOPTERS INSTEAD OF DRONES

We explored the drone market several years ago and found out we can provide a much better product from a helicopter or fixed wing aircraft. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has created “no-drone zones” that do not allow drones to operate in certain areas. We provide a better perspective by flying higher than drones are legally allowed. Our helicopter aerials allow for higher/wider perspective with high resolution images.

The FAA mandates drones to remain below 400' and "no-drone zones" include the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas area, and near any of our 5 airports - Harry Reid International, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Nellis AFB, and Boulder City.

DRONE EXAMPLES

Drones are limited to height, resolution, and range providing a lower quality aerial shot

HELICOPTER EXAMPLES

Helicopter aerials provide higher, wider, more accurate, and higher resolution images
